Privacy Policy

This policy describes the information collected during a visit, the reasons it is used, and the limited circumstances in which it may be disclosed. By continuing to use Little River County Criminal History, you acknowledge the practices stated below.

Data You Give Us Directly

Search Queries

A name or location entered in a search tool is sent directly to the outside provider that operates that tool. The provider processes the request and supplies its results. Little River County Criminal History does not retain or record those search terms on its own systems.

Messages and Contact Submissions

An email or contact submission may be kept long enough to answer and maintain the related correspondence. It is not shared outside the organization unless disclosure is required by law.

Data We Gather Automatically

When a page loads, the servers may automatically receive basic technical information about the visit:

  • The IP address assigned to your device
  • Which browser you are using and its version
  • Your device type and operating system
  • The pages you visited and how long you stayed on each
  • The site that sent you here, if any
  • Timestamps for each page view

Cookies and Analytics

Cookies are small files placed on a device to help measure how people use the site, including popular pages and common exit points. Analytics providers may combine this activity into traffic reports. A browser can reject or delete cookies, although blocking them may change how some features work.

What We Do With This Data

  • Keeping the site up, running, and loading quickly
  • Sending your search requests to the right partner service
  • Figuring out which pages people find useful and which need work
  • Tracking down and fixing technical issues
  • Showing ads that may line up with your interests

No Criminal-Record Data on File

Little River County Criminal History does not maintain, assemble, or sell a database of personal criminal records. Its reference material identifies records held by the Little River County Sheriff's Office, Arkansas courts, the Arkansas State Police and Arkansas Crime Information Center, and the Arkansas Sex Offender Registry. It is not a consumer reporting agency under the Fair Credit Reporting Act, and visitor information is not compiled into consumer reports or third-party criminal files.

Third-Party Search Partners

Outside companies power the search boxes. Information submitted there is governed by the provider's privacy policy rather than this policy. Each provider controls its own retention and disclosure practices, so review those terms before entering a query.

Links to Other Websites

Links may lead to Little River County offices, Arkansas court portals, state agencies, legal resources, and outside search services. Once a visitor follows a link, the destination's privacy policy controls. Review it before providing personal information.

Advertising providers may use their own systems to follow activity across websites and select interest-based ads. That tracking is controlled by those providers.

Who Might See Your Data

Personal data is not sold. Limited information may be available to:

  • Search partners that handle queries you run on our site
  • Analytics services we use to track traffic and performance
  • Ad networks that place ads on our pages
  • Law enforcement or government bodies when a valid legal order requires it

How We Protect Your Data

Reasonable security measures are used to protect collected information. No internet service can guarantee absolute security, however, and the site cannot promise that unauthorized access will never occur.

Users Under 18

The site is intended for adults and does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone younger than 18. If information from a minor is identified, a request may be made for its prompt deletion.

Your Data Rights

Applicable Arkansas privacy and consumer-protection law may provide rights concerning personal data. The Arkansas Freedom of Information Act, including Ark. Code Ann. § 25-19-105, governs access to qualifying government records, not private visitor data held by this site. Subject to applicable law, you may:

  • Ask for a copy of what we have on file about you
  • Have us fix information that is wrong
  • Request that we erase your data
  • Opt out of certain kinds of data processing

Updates to This Policy

This policy may be revised as practices or legal requirements change. A replacement version will be posted here and will carry an updated effective date.
